HEAT PUMPS

Whether to heat or cool your home, heat water, a heat pump will allow you to improve energy efficiency.

What are they?

Heat pumps are one of the fastest, most comfortable, and efficient solutions for conditioning a space. It allows heating in winter and cooling in summer, based on the same operation as an air conditioning system, with the difference of using water as the working fluid.

How do they work?

They are usually composed of two units: one inside the dwelling and another installed outside.
It is common to install several indoor units only for heating, either through radiators, underfloor heating, or fan-coils for air conditioning.
In the case of fan-coils, it is possible to heat and cool spaces quickly and silently through the circulation of hot or cold water inside the unit.
Heat pumps can also be used to heat sanitary water, being the most efficient solution available on the market, three times more efficient and economical than conventional water heaters and storage tanks.

Advantages

– By opting for a heat pump, you will save energy, reduce costs, and emit less CO2, due to its high efficiency;
– Heat pumps can be integrated with photovoltaic solar systems, further reducing energy consumption;
– This system is easily applicable in already constructed houses, requiring little space for implementation;
– It has a long lifespan (about 20 years).
